Warrior Marching Band Named Grand Champions at Old South!
The North Cobb Warrior Marching Band completed their 2008 competition season in grand
fashion November 1st, winning the Old South Trophy as Grand Champions of the 29th Annual Old South Marching Festival in Newnan, GA!
Performing their program 'Viva Las Vegas', the Warrior Band received Superior
ratings for Drum Major, Percussion, Color Guard, and overall band performance,
leading to a first place finish in the Class AAAA division (for the second competition
in a row, the Color Guard’s score was highest among all competing teams!).
The band’s excellent performance of their musical medley (which includes ‘Viva Las

Congratulations to all members of the band, Mr. Williams, Mr. Pannell, and the
entire staff for making 2008 a marching season to remember!
The Warrior Band would like to extend a special thank you to Roush Vance and Max Kittel of EPMTHREE for providing the props for this year's show, and to Pete & Camille Walton and Mark Jansen for their prop engineering expertise!
