Chaperones monitor all band member's behavior as described in the student handbook and as dictated by the band Directors. Chaperones are needed at all band functions, such as band camp, practices, football games, competitions, festivals, and any other event where the band travels as a group. Chaperone training workshops are held during the summer, around the time of band camp. All parents new to chaperoning must attend one of the scheduled chaperone training workshops (these workshops are usually held in the evening during band camp). For returning parents that have served as chaperones in the past, there will be a "refresher" workshop scheduled around the same time.
